Bummer I missed this event. Must be an incredible experience especially if you create an algorithm within a collaborate team format.

I'm a little unclear how this works. Are the teams randomly compromised of individuals who attend the meetup and separated by geograhical residency (Chicago or Boston)? Or do teams form on their own? Or can anyone from anywhere in the world email an entry into this competition?

Good luck to all the participants!

Hi Mark, I'm sorry you're missing our hackathon! There is a venue for Boston and a venue for Chicago. Individuals present at the venues in either city can work alone, or form small teams if they would like to either with friends or by asking other attendees if they want to work together. You cannot enter unless you are present at one of the hackathons. However, we are considering running a purely online hackathon, allowing users to submit from anywhere in the world. We'll keep you updated on that.
