Bug on dividend yield

Hi Q,

I am getting a bug on pipeline access to morningstar.valuation_ratios.dividend_yield in 2009. It used to work just fine.

Here it is:
ValueError: Names ['asof_date', 'sid', 'timestamp', 'trailing_dividend_yield'] not consistent with known names [u'asof_date', u'sid', u'timestamp', u'dividend_yield']

All my algo are down in live trading.

Something went wrong and your live algorithm has stopped.
Once you resolve the problem in the source algorithm, redeploy it to continue live trading. Something went wrong on our end. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please email us so we can help.
ValueError: Names ['asof_date', 'sid', 'timestamp', 'trailing_dividend_yield'] not consistent with known names [u'asof_date', u'sid', u'timestamp', u'dividend_yield']

Hi Lionel,

That sounds like an issue on our end. We'll take a look and do what we can to get your live algorithm running again. Sorry for the trouble.

Thanks Jamie.

I do hope you can have them back up.

The issue has been resolved. If anyone else experiences this problem, please let us know.

Hi Jamie

I am still experiencing the same issue as Lionel. Any advice?

"ValueError: Names ['asof_date', 'sid', 'timestamp', 'trailing_dividend_yield'] not consistent with known names [u'asof_date', u'sid', u'timestamp', u'dividend_yield']"

Me too

Thanks for reporting the issue. I'm able to reproduce the problem in research, but not in backtesting. Can you confirm that you're seeing the problem in research? If so, you should be able to get around the problem by using:
Fundamentals.trailing_dividend_yield instead of morningstar.valuation_ratios.dividend_yield.

To do so, you may need to run:
from import Fundamentals
if you haven't already.

Let me know if this helps, or if the problem is occurring in backtesting as well.

Hi Jamie

Thanks for the prompt reply. It works!! And ya i was doing it in research environment.

I tried with "Fundamentals.amortization"

I got: AttributeError: type object 'Fundamentals' has no attribute 'amortization'

How can I solve this issue?
