Calling all Students! New University Contest - Deadline January 31st

Students! We are launching a new take on our daily contest designed specifically for you. Our university contest will teach you how to better research and build an investment algorithm. It will also let you see how your idea stacks up against other students’ strategies from around the world.

Students who want to participate will need to register for Quantopian with a student email address (or change their current account to a student email address) and enter their algorithm/s directly into our daily contest by January 31st.

Getting Started
We have created Quantopian in the classroom to help you easily get started with the university contest. It features tutorials and lectures, vetted by professors at Cornell ORIE and Harvard IACS, that will teach you how to research, build, and evaluate your investment algorithm.

New Student Prizes
Student prizes for the university contest include daily cash prizes, a Quantopian internship interview, and LinkedIn certificates. Prizes will be based on how you perform against other students in the contest, both from your own school and from schools all over the world.
