Contest 14 Winner: Frederik Strikert

Congratulations to Frederik Strikert, winner of Contest 14!

Frederik is living in Copenhagen, Denmark and has been a Quantopian member since 2014. He recently completed his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and is preparing to begin a Master’s degree in the same field.

Prior to his work on Quantopian, Frederik had worked in VBA, SAS, and Ox. He picked up Python as many other Quantopian members do by going through community examples and editing them to add his own flavor. He notes that his Master’s degree has some flexibility in course selection so he’s hoping to include a number of computer science courses in his program.

We've already paid out over $35,000 in contest earnings. Submit your algorithm to the contest by the next deadline, September 1st at 9:30AM ET, for a chance to win!
