This is what i am thinking of when i hear "Brainslug":

But that has noting to do with Python ;-)

This error implies one's contest algo took longer than 5 hours to complete. Is there any room in your algo to make the code more efficient? If you would like some help feel free to contact support (via the link at the bottom right of this page). Check the box 'I need help with a specific algorithm...' then select the algo that caused the error. That will give our support team permission to view the code.

Well, in fact it is the faster version of the algo that is still running (and which is running for months now).
So: no, i do not think that there is room to speed it up. And there is nothing in it that should take 5 hours to complete.....

I will make a new backtest to see how long it takes for the algo to complete.

@Christian your contest algo has been re-qualified. We'll watch it and see if there is any issue going forward. It does seem like a fluke. Sorry for the inconvenience.
