Emergency Stop: Cancel All Open Orders.

I have an algo run a muck that has placed hundreds of potentially dangerous limit orders that I need to cancel. Does anyone have a simple algo that will cancel all open orders as soon as it is run? This is simple enough, but I am furiously trying to cancel orders via the Robinhood app.

In short, that isn't possible with Quantopian. Please contact your broker to close those orders.

When you start a Quantopian algorithm, it synchronizes all of the positions and cash from your brokerage to Quantopian. It does not synchronize orders. That means there is no programmatic way for your algorithm to know about, or interact with, any orders that it did not place itself.

It's also worth noting that everyone who trades real money through Quantopian gets access to an emergency email address that pages an on-call engineer. This would have been a very appropriate time to use that email address.

I was able to get it resolved rather quickly, but I might have panicked for a moment.
Thank you for the quick reply Dan.
