Is there any way to get financial statements (e.g. balance sheet) of stocks listed? Without it doesn't preclude any type of value/quality investing strategies? Is there any plans to do this in the future?
You can look them up elsewhere, http://www.secinfo.com/ for example (or you can query EDGAR directly if you're into that sort of thing).
I agree it would be nice to get quarterly reports in standardized formats. That said, a quick search over on Quandl for 3d Systems yielded some relevant book data: http://www.quandl.com/OFDP-Open-Financial-Data-Project/DMDRN_DDD_ALLFINANCIALRATIOS-3D-Systems-Corp-DDD-All-Financial-Ratios
Thank you, your links were helpful. Particularly http://pages.stern.nyu.edu/~adamodar/New_Home_Page/data.html has a list of various financial ratios. e.g. http://www.stern.nyu.edu/~adamodar/pc/datasets/compfirm.xls has a list of ratios for stocks being traced in the United States for 2013. Although like you said, quarterly reports would be nice. If anyone else has any pointers for where else I can find this sort of info, that would be nice.
