Futures and the data object

How the hell do you use the data object with futures?

AttributeError: 'zipline.assets.continuous_futures.ContinuousFuture' object has no attribute 'current'

Hi Cary,

Your best bet is probably to go through the Futures Tutorial. In particular, lesson 9 shows how to use the data object with futures. The help documentation also has some content that you might find helpful. In general, it's easier to help you if you share the code that's running into the error. One way to do this is to 'attach' a backtest to your community post which will include the code with it.

Let me know if you find this helpful.
