get_fundamentals/query from a research notebook

I have been switching to research notebook to do my analysis and was wondering how to do
get_fundamentals()/query() from the research notebook.

The following does not work

from zipline.api import order_target, record, symbol, history, add_history, get_fundamantals, query

We're working right now on adding get_fundamentals() to the Research platform. We've finished the backend work, are working on the front-end work and then will need to test. Hopefully we deploy it out to you soon.

Stay tuned.

Any progress on this?

Yes, we are testing the initial version of this feature in our testing environment.

How can one get get_fundamentals to work on a separate Jupyter notebook outside of the Quantopian IDE?

That is not possible, sorry. You must use get_fundamentals() either in an algo or on Quantopian Research

Part of the deal with our data vendors is that the data stays on our platform.

Has this been added yet? I just tried using it in notebook and am getting an error saying 'fundamentals is not defined' even when I run cells from the fundamentals research tutorial.

Whoops... worked it out. Needed to run the init_fundamentals cell first.
