they changed their ticker awhile back I know

it says Error Symbol 'GOOG' was not found. Did you check set_symbol_lookup_date() to confirm the asset traded at this time? Learn More

You can use the sid() function, this will map to each of the tickers that Google has had in the past (so you don't have to worry about it).

For Google, the function is sid(26578).

What if I am using fundamental data of Google in the research environment? Can I use the sid function to get all historical values related to the company?
