Local_csv recall

Hi I was wondering, if anyone could point me in the right direction as to how I could load my data and create a chart from an uploaded local csv file.

Hi Boris -

Go to your research area and go into the data folder. In the upper right corner you'll find an icon that looks like a cloud with an arrow pointing into the cloud. Click that icon to get the upload dialog and upload the file.

Then, go back up to your main folder level in research, and go to the Tutorials and Documentationfolder. Open 0. API Reference and scroll down to the local_csv section.

Hopefully that gets you going!

Note, Quantopian doesn't retain your data for long. The data gets trashed when we cycle servers, generally a couple times a week. So you will have to periodically re-upload your file if you're using it for a long time. We plan on fixing that and making the storage more permanent at some point, but we haven't gotten there yet.
