I have 3 questions:
1) I would like to attend the conference with my youngest brother. He is a newly enrolled student in the university. The only proof for university student status he has is his letter of acceptance by the university. He has yet to receive his student ID. Is this sufficient proof to qualify him for student fare in this conference ? He still does not have his university email address yet. Can he register using his own private email address ?

2) I have to pay the USD 34.58 fee when making payment for my Individual QuantCon & One Workshop ticket. What is that for ?

3) Will there be any extra transaction charge on the credit card I use for payment ?

Thank you very much.

Hi Colin,

Thank you for your interest in QuantCon Singapore! It is going to be a fantastic event. Answers to your questions below:

  1. Your brother's letter of acceptance is perfectly acceptable and does qualify him for the student rate.
  2. Our ticketing agent charges a credit card processing fee and service charge fee for each ticket purchased, thus the fee you see when making your payment.
  3. No, there will not be any other extra transaction charges on the card you use for payment.

I hope this answers your questions and that we see you and your brother at QuantCon!
