Screening out "unrelated business taxable income" stocks using the fundamental screener?

Anyone have any idea how to do this? I don't see any relevant fields in the fundamentals reference guide.

Actually, probably even the field which can distinguish between MLP and C Corps would be helpful. I am still looking through the reference guide for this data.

Anyone have any ideas about this? I'm trying to replicate some indices using the fundamental screener.

Bueller?

Hi Simon,

I dug through the docs and didn't see anything specific in the Morningstar data. I'll reach out to their support and see if they have something you and I are missing.

Thanks,
Josh

Confirmed by Morningstar via email today -- they don't track this metric in any of their packages. Sorry.

Do you see it tracked somewhere else online?

I haven't been able to find any good sources of data for it, aside from actual SEC filings. It makes it hard to replicate Russell indices; one's replication is overloaded with energy passthroughs and the like.
