Sharing an Image

I'm trying to share an image with the community. The only way that I know how is via a notebook. The image disaplys fine in the notebook, but as you can see, it does not display here. It would be great if the I could just insert an image directly into a post without doing the notebook hack, which doesn't work any way. Thanks for listening!

BTW, the broken image link that this page is trying to display is https://notebooks-prod.herokuapp.com/data/Bollinger-Bands-Results.jpg

I have used imgur.com in the past for this purpose, it will not show here but it's fast and easy.

This said, it should be possible to attach images, it would add to discussion if people could post images relevant to posts.

Thanks. I'm serving the image from my website now and displaying the image through a notebook. What a shame that it's such a hassle.

If you have an image hosted somewhere, you can use the following syntax to render it in a forum post:

![](<insert link to image>)

I'll add your +1 votes for a built-in image button.

Cheers,
Alisa

Thanks, Alisa. If you see this image, your suggestion worked! :-)

I suggest putting this trick on the help page (or maybe a little clickable help button on the forum?):

![](<insert link to image>)

Also, it'd be nice if the forum supported embedded images directly (e.g. via Windows copy and paste), rather than requiring that they be hosted by a third party. It'd be kinda handy for screen shots of error messages, code snippets, etc.
