Using Python Machine-Learning packages

Hi,

I'm completely new to Quantopian, but have python programming experience.
I wanted to know if the platform support machine learning packages such as sklearn and scikit?

Thanks,
Amir

Hi Amir,

Here's the list of the python modules that we have whitelisted for use on Quantopian, which includes sklearn. If you end up needing something from a module we don't support you can let us know and we'll add it to our queue.

Best, Jess

I've noticed there are certain parts of sklearn that aren't support on Q, is there a full list somewhere. In particular I'm interested in feature selection similar to ExtraTreesClassifier.

+1 to Andy's question.
